In one course during my master's program, we were tasked with the creation of a camping checklist mobile app. I developed the logo for the app as well as a functioning protoype using Axure RP.
For the logo, I wanted to capture the twin concepts of the joys of camping as well as the idea of a checklist. What is more iconic to camping than the campfire, where folks gather to tell ghost stories, roast s'mores, and generally enjoy each other's company and the warmth of the fire? In the logo, an "x" that someone may use to check something off a list takes place of the logs. You can also view the functioning prototype I created.
